Thank You Cards Are the Must Have for Your Organization System

Hey everyone! So it is not news that I am an organization freak.  Making sure that my life is organized has benefited me in so many ways.  And I love to make sure that my system is personalized and that all of my tools work for me and show others who I am.  Usually when people are setting up their organization systems, they immediately think of just a few tools to help them achieve their goals.  But no one thinks of  thank you cards and how they help you put your best foot forward just like all of your other organization tools.

Tools that you should have in your organization system

  1. Planner
  2. Sticky Notes
  3. Phone/Electronic System
  4. Thank You cards/Personal Stationary

Personally, I think that people need all four of the following items in their organization toolbox.  The last item on this list is definitely what gets overlooked the most.

Benefits of the Thank You Cards

The thank you card seems out of place when it comes to the other three items. An organization system should benefit you as well as help you put your best foot forward with those that are around you.  Being organized helps you to be the best you and creates time for you to do the things that matters most to you.  Thank you notes are simple and stand out over all of the electronic methods.

Personally, I love the thank you cards from Basic Invite.  They carry over 1500 thank you card designs.  Each of their designs are customizable to suit my style.  So I get them to match my current planners or office decor.  Currently in my life stage I am mainly using thank you cards for professional reasons.  I also use them in my organization system at work.  But thank you cards are for any occasion!  Get some photo collage thank you cards for your graduation gifts or get custom wedding thank you cards made after your special day.

Ways to use a thank you card and how to incorporate them into your organization system

The goal is to have these cards help you put your best foot forward. You want them to be memorable and stand out to those you are sending it to.  So customize your cards, make them uniquely you!  Basic Invite has almost unlimited colors.  Once you select a design you can change the color of each element on the card to over 180 different color options so you can make sure the card is exactly how you want it down to the littlest detail.  And just to make sure you like your cards, order custom samples. They are one of the few websites that allows customers the ability to order a printed sample of their actual card so they can see exactly how it will print as well as the paper quality before they ever have to place their final order.

No one does this anymore people!  Think of your cards as ways to make an impression.  I spend Sunday nights planning out my week.  If any of my plans if I see that there is an opportunity to make an impression or to say thanks, I add writing a thank you note as one of my to do list items.  Maybe I have a dinner planned with a friend that I don’t see that often and they are paying the bill, I will write them a note.  Professionally, I will write thank you notes after I have a networking coffee with someone or after an interview.  With already personalized cards, I just take a few minutes right after to craft their thank you note.  I make sure to do it right after so that I can incorporate a detail from our conversation.

I found that thank you notes go such a long way!  And in a professional setting, a thank you note goes so much further than a follow up thank you email.  People definitely stand out with the personalized notes, and the cool thing is that they didn’t take that much effort or time to do!

Love you all! I look forward to putting up more organizational and professional tips to help just keep it simple for you guys!
